Children's Centre Leaders Network

The CCLN Reference Group representatives act as an authentic voice of Children’s Centre Leaders and act as a conduit for children's centres' regional views and issues, representing your voice to DfE and the Minister.

	Lynn Kennington                                                  East Midlands 01457 728 951 Email Lyn Kennington Lynn's main successes are having two "outstanding" Ofsted reports, showing her commitment to quality provision and integration of services.  Lynn has worked with DCSF, Ofsted and Primary Strategy over her 22 years as a integrated centre leader.     Matthew Beams East Midlands 01933 671 700 Email Matthew Beams Matthew has a background in Youth & Community Work before moving into Early Years eight years ago.  Matthew's interests are in community development and supporting teenage parents and parents with learning disabilities.  Matthew is also passionate about partnership with service users and the development of parent volunteers within the centre's programme.

	Nasso Christou                                                   London 0207 527 4827 Email Nasso Christou Nasso has been very successful in attracting hard to reach parents to the Archway children's centre by means of a creative environment.  Nasso is part of the integrated working group in the LA and is a QAA subject reviewer.
	Jan Casson                                                   North East 01668 283 372 email Jan Casson Jan has 32 years experience in nursery, childcare and family support areas.  She has set up and managed three work place nurseries and six children's centres.
	Jackie Royce                                                  North East 01925 538 810 Email Jackie Royce Jackie is currently leading a project on health commissioning.  She has also worked in the USA on the Head Start Programmes for 15 years.
	Ann Crichton                                                  North West 01282 657 395 Email Ann Chrichton Ann's interests include family support, community cohesion, integrating health services into children's centres, domestic abuse, teenage pregnancy and partnership working.   Ann manages a centre in the top 1% of deprivation and is also a member of the local strategic partnership for Pendle.
	John Rogers                                                    North West 0161 301 6726 Email John Rogers John enjoys working with and learning from multi-agency peers and colleagues.  John works as an advisor to North West Sure Start meetings, a mentor for NPQICL and as an expert reader for the Sure Start Audit Commission report in November 2006.

	Sue Payne                                                     West Midlands 01384 812 440 Email Sue Payne Sue is co-chair of the Dudley Children's Centre Network and provides mentoring to participants on the NPQICL.   Sue has supported the development of children's centres in Dudley. She managed a project to deal with health inequalities through the training of community parents and Muslim health outreach workers.
