This jointly developed agreement provides a framework for a new strategic partnership between the Department of Health, NHS and Social Care and the Voluntary and Community Sector. It was informed by the Making Partnership Work for Patients, Carers and Service Users consultation which took place between August and November 2003.

This national programme involves all children in Reception and Year 6 having their height and weight recorded. The exercise will take place in schools every year.

ContinYou will work with its partners and service users to assist in maintaining health improvement. Underpinning this will be a capacity building approach both within statutory and non-statutory agencies, as well as communities, to enable them to work together to tackle health inequalities.
